  My family and I can not say enough about how wonderful Rosehaven was for us! The home was PERFECT in every way possible.Clean. AVH staff,property manager VERY attenative. Location was perfect. The house was equipped with EVERYTHING! We are going to plan another trip to Rockport and this WILL BE the place we come back to. AMAZING

  Pros
  1.Great property and floor plan with nice sized rooms for a large group or family.
  2.Convenient to Rockport and Gloucester
  3.Within a couple of blocks to public footpath to ocean (huge boulders)
  4.Plenty of cook books, dishes and cooking pots and pans for a group of 12. The only I didn't find was a 9x12 cake pan. All you need to bring is the food.
  5.Great appliances
  6.On-site laundry
  7. Some books, board games, puzzles, etc for young and old alike.
  8. Nice bed linens and towels
  9. Friendly neighbors, very safe neighborhood.
  10. An hour or less to Logan airport.
  Cons
  central air. It was unusually hot/humid during our stay - thankfully there were 2 window air conditioners on second floor and the unit on the 3rd floor. The main floor stayed somewhat cool until the afternoon and evening, then cooled off again overnight from the ocean breezes.
  2. 10 am check-out. If our whole group of 11 would have stayed until check-out day, there would not have been enough time to get all of the towels and bed linens washed and dried without having to get up super early to get the laundry completed by 10 am.

  This beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our group of 12. Our family and friends consisted of 3 generations from ages 19 to 82 and everyone had room to spread out in the 2 living-rooms and screened- in porch. We enjoyed our walks on the Atlantic Path; a short walk from this home and everything else Cape Anne has to offer.

  Very, very nice house. Lots of bedrooms, 2 family rooms, beautiful kitchen, more appliances then you could use. Everybody connected with our stay from the owner to the people at Atlantic Vacation homes was very helpful in making our stay a terrific stay. The owner had the house stocked with coffee which we were free to use, left a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift, left a note with his phone number in case we ran into problems. The owner heard of our desire for wireless internet and installed a wireless router before we arrived. Great walks along the ocean minutes away. All in all a very nice stay.

  Part of our family (12 people) stayed in this home for 8 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The home was very comfortable and fun. It's 2 living/family rooms made it very family friendly allowing small children to play in one..the older congregating in the other. The large dining area allowed for fun meals and everyone enjoyed the home's uniqueness. If there was a criticism, it would be that the baking pans were old and limiting but nothing that couldn't be worked with. We had a wonderful time and the house very much added to this experience. Would recommend it without any hesitation!

  . was wonderfull! We`ve been really astonished about the place, how it looks like and how we felt 'at home' immedeatelly. I (as the diretor, producer and head of the group) think about, after our stay there, to spend my next hollydays with my three kids and wife at the area of rockport. the only thing we have to object to is the equipment of the kitchen: no big pan, what one would need for a house occupied by 6 people, no toaster, only a few garden-furniture and less china. but, eth was perfect and we loved it there. thanks for having us...
